Tim Panasiuk PresidentAbout TimTim started GMT in 1981 as an auto repair facility called “The Service Department”. Tim spent many evenings expanding his education attending NAIT and many other after-market courses to improve a variety of skills ranging from electrical trouble shooting to reading balance sheets & income statements. As an avid fisherman and boater he decided to add a Mercury Marine franchise in 1989. Due to his love of the water Tim fished in several tournaments and was involved in jet boat racing over the years. In 1995 his enjoyment for sledding prompted the addition for a Ski-Doo franchise. Can-Am off-road ATV’s and side by sides followed and Tim and his family have enjoyed many adventures on the trails over the years. In 2000 the decision was made to discontinue the auto repair business and focus on the growing recreational business. As a result “Gibbons Motor Toys” was born. In May 2011, with the help of dedicated staff he opened a second location in Salmon Arm BC. Tim’s goals are to continue to invest in his staff, customers and facilities and he looks forward to the knowledge, experience and friendships he has yet to discover. |
